Celebration of 90th Anniversary of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies

(Paris, 4 May). 

To celebrate its 90th Anniversary, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies organized a series of special events in Paris on 4 May. One such event was a reception held at the Elysée Palace, where the “Paris Declaration” on the humanitarian challenges faced by the world today was presented.

Both Mr. Nicolás Sarkozy, President of the Republic of France, and Mr. Juan Manuel Suárez del Toro, the maximum leader of the Federation and also our President, gave important speeches. The participation of the French Red Cross was commended.
