Caracas and several states of the country are affected by rains.

Since the 24th day of November of 2010, weeks of constant rain in the entire country have caused several flooding and earth slides which have affected 31.600 families and leaving a number of 35 deaths. At the end of November, the Venezuelan Government declared Emergency Status in eight states of the country and Alert Status in another three. 
Dr. Mario Villarroel and the entire team of the Venezuelan Red Cross provided their support to help the most affected sectors in the national territory.
