Inauguration of “Dr. Mario Villarroel” Course on International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights

On the 20th of February of the present year, a solemn act with motive of the inauguration of “Dr. Mario Villarroel” Course of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (Peces – Barba Foundation and Universidad Carlos III of Madrid) was held in the School of War of the Spanish Army in the city of Madrid, Spain. In this event, academic people of different nationalities spoke and the Ex-President of Colombia, Don Ernesto Samper, was the opening speaker of the course. Later, Dr. Villarroel thanked with emotive words such important distinction.

This event was followed by the four day “Horizons of International Humanitarian Law and the Colombian Conflict” Seminar.
